Money Making With Skinning!

Skinning Profession Required


If you are willing to give a very little amount of time to obtain large amounts of gold you're in luck!

Start off by visiting any Skinning Trainer and learn "Skinning Apprentice". Next Make sure you have a skinning knife on you at all times while out skinning.

Beasts in your starting area will not be able to be skinned because the area is meant for players of level 1-6 and you will not have any professions until level 5.

If you are a Horde character, start your skinning career in Durotar and stay there until level 60 Skinning

If you are an Alliance character, start your skinning career in Dun Morogh and also stay there until level 60 Skinning.

Once you reach level 60 visit your trainer and learn the next rank "Skinning", then you will want to stay in Barrens if you are Horde and Loch Modan if you are have level 110 Skinning.

As you skin, every time you obtain either one or multiple full "stacks" of 20 leather, visit the nearest Auction House and put them all up for auction. Then after a small amount of time someone will buy your leather and you will receive gold! As you skin better and more expensive leather your profit will increase greatly.
